Lake Garner, DMD
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Lake Garner has been practicing dentistry since 1996. He is a lifelong Mississippi resident and has been married to his wife, Michelle, for over 20 years. They have three children, and are very active in the Hattiesburg community and local charities, including the Pink Ribbon Fund and the Hub City Humane Society. Dr. Garner and Michelle were participants on Season 9 of The Amazing Race.
Dr. Garner attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. Before dental school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1992. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and Mississippi Dental Association. In addition to overseeing company business and practicing dentistry full-time, Dr. Garner also owns commercial properties.
Lanthea Mangum, RDH
Chief Operations Officer
Lanthea Magum, a registered dental hygienist, began her career with Dr. Garner in 2004. Originally hired as a dental hygienist, she has acquired several promotions as she aided in the growth of the company from the establishment of the first clinic.
After being promoted to the Corporate office in 2016, Lanthea created the company's first ordering system and managed all dental supplies. Lanthea now oversees all operations, including project management of new offices, sustainability of clinic staff and equipment, and the overall functionality and growth of Garner Dental Group.
Lanthea and her husband Mike are from Hattiesburg and have two children.
Haden Anderson
Chief Financial Officer
Haden Anderson graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. Before joining the Garner Dental Group in 2018, he worked for HORNE LLP in their Public & Middle Market assurance division.
Haden prepares the financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow) for each clinic and on a consolidated level. He also is in charge of the monthly loan payments and amortization of the loans. He implements internal controls and month-end checklists for the Corporate Office. Haden is responsible for the overall financial health of the organization and predicts future forecasts.
Sharley Hamm
Chief Marketing Officer
Sharley Hamm began as the Marketing Director for Garner Dental Group in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with an emphasis in Public Relations, and a Master of Science in Mass Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Sharley implements all internal and external marketing campaigns, manages website development and digital advertising, and organizes company events. In addition to promoting Garner Dental Group, Sharley also handles all MDOT permitting and sales of Billboard Man, a division of Garner Properties.
In her free time, Sharley can be found at Southern Cross Animal Rescue (SCAR), where she serves as a board member. Sharley is an alumna of Phi Mu Sorority. She is a co-director of the Miss Jasper and Jones County Hospitality pageants and is a member of the Mississippi Association of Pageant Judges.
Nena Williamson
Regional Manager
Nena Williamson is a seasoned dental professional with years of experience at all levels. Beginning as a dental assistant, she eventually worked as a hygienist and then oversaw operations as an office manager. She is knowledgeable in the daily operations, as well as insurance and accounts receivable.
Nena's expertise makes her valuable in her current role, as she is able to relate to the office staff. She offers support to office managers and front staff, as well as aids the Corporate office in the accumulation and integration of new clinics.
Nena, a Sumrall, MS native, is a licensed realtor and handles several rental properties. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her twin grandchildren.
Mary Halterman
Regional Manager
Mary has been employed with Dr. Garner since 2016. Initially hired as a receptionist, Mary quickly decided that she wanted to learn as much as possible about the processes and responsibilities that are overseen by front office staff. In 2018, she began working with our Corporate office to provide support to office managers.
Mary believes that any workplace improves and benefits the most when employees are open to change and are willing to learn. She is glad to be a part of teaching and implementing appropriate and effective procedures in our offices.
Mary is from northeast Louisiana, and still resides there. She and her husband, Ashley, have been married since 2012 and have two beautiful children, Colby and Mallory. When she is not working, Mary can be found spending time with her family, reading, or baking.
Brittiney Lindsey
Purchasing and Supply Manager
Brittiney Lindsey has experience in dental assisting and dental supply ordering since 2007. Originally hired in 2009 as a dental assistant, she now manages all office and dental supply purchasing for Garner Dental Group.
Brittiney completed the Dental Assisting Program at Pearl River Community College in 2007, with certifications in Infection Control, Radiology, and CPR. During her time at PRCC, Brittiney was a student member of the American Dental Association, was awarded with an academic achievement award, and graduated with special honors.
A Hattiesburg native, Brittiney and her husband, Brandon, have two daughters.
Katie Michinni, RDH
Hygiene Director
Katie Michini, a Mississippi State Board Registered Dental Hygienist, began her career with Garner Dental Group in 2016 at our Gautier location. In 2018, she was promoted to her current position in which she provides support and mentors to all location's hygienists. Katie ensures production goals are being met, analyzes reports, and evaluates hygienists' skills.
Katie graduated from Pearl River Community College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and has been practicing dental hygiene for 10 years.
Katie and her husband, Monte, have been married 13 years. They have two children, Gracee and Regee.
Brandi Krummel
HR & Payroll Manager
Brandi Krummel began her career with Garner Dental Group in 2019.
Brandi handles all issues related to employees, including recruiting and hiring, performance management and reviews, training, employee relations, and employee safety. She also monitors time and attendance, along with assisting in the payroll process.
Brandi graduated Pearl River Community College with an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems Technology.
Brandi and her husband, Jason, have been married for over 20 years. They have three children; Preston, Haley, and Kevin.
Mikey Mims
IT Manager
Mikey Mims began his employment with Garner Dental Group in May 2018. He has been working in the Information Technology field since 2010, and has several years of experience using his skills with other health related companies.
Mikey's duties within the IT Department include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting all hardware and software related issues throughout the company.
Erika Davis
Call Center Representative
Erika Davis, from Sumrall, MS, began working with Garner Dental in 2017. She serves patients via roll-over calls, manages the monthly dentist schedule, and handles administrative tasks.
Erika and her husband, Jonathan, are proud parents to their son, Grayson.
