Lake Garner, DMD

Dr. Lake Garner has been practicing dentistry since 1996. He is a lifelong Mississippi resident and has been married to his wife, Michelle, for over 20 years. They have three children, and are very active in the Hattiesburg community and local charities, including the Pink Ribbon Fund and the Hub City Humane Society.

Dr. Garner attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. Before dental school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1992. Dr. Garner is an active member of the American Dental Association and Mississippi Dental Association.

Garner Dental Group began as a dream of Dr. Garner’s to provide quality dental care across the state. The company has seen exponential growth in the last several years, doubling in size. Dr. Garner believes that diligence and focusing on the patients’ well being is the key to the Group’s success.

“I believe in hard work, and taking risks,” says Dr. Garner. His love of challenges and his motivation to succeed have drove the Group’s expansion and prosperity.

Dr. Garner values opportunities of education and advancement. He enjoys mentoring his staff, as well as dental students. Bi-annually, Garner Dental Group hosts lunch and learns at the Dental School at UMMC where Dr. Garner shares his knowledge of both the art of dentistry and the business components.

“I believe in dancing with the girl that you brought to the dance. Dentistry is the girl, and I’m dancing!,” Garner says.
